Challenge

Enhance IAG’s communication effectiveness through the Newsroom to make it easier for media and stakeholders to engage with the strategy and work.

 

Objectives

  • Redesign the Newsroom to make it more usable and engaging.

  • Create more flexible templates and options for publishing stories via the CMS.

  • Make it easier for stakeholders to share stories with their networks.

  • Improve options for media to engage with IAG and find the information they need on breaking news.

Outcomes

The updated Newsroom is easier to navigate, enhances engagement and time on page, and caters to media stakeholders.

A more engaging Newsroom

Updated visual design for digital to align the Newsroom to the IAG brand guidelines. These styles were then fed into Chroma to include IAG in the broader design system.

Defined and documented visual design

Simplified and flexible CMS template for corporate affairs to publish stories with a variety of common templates like corporate affairs or interview pieces.

Improved publishing experience
